I am looking for the part number for the incandescent head for a Scout light. Where can I find one, how much do they cost, and how many lumens is it compared to the stock LED head?

Thanks!

Scout light has two Surefire factory options for an incandescent head.

The light is the same as an "E" series light, like the E2e. So if you get a standard E series bezel, you can run the MN02 (25 lumens) or the MN03 (60 lumens). This isn't a shock isolated set up.

The scout light kit comes with the LU60A unit, which is an adapter to make the "E" series lights take the same head as 6P/Z2/C2-3 and M2 heads. It comes with the M2 shock isolated head and can use the P60 (60 lumen) and P61 (120 lumen) bulbs.

I asked Surefire a while ago and they said that the LU60A's were not available for sale outside the scout light kits. May have changed. I picked up one of the LU60A's from Candlepowerforums a while back for about 45$.

If you don't need it to be "Surefire" brand, you could always get something like this. (http://www.lighthound.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1056) Then add a Z32 or M2 head and call it good. I've seen them in the black as well.

The LU60A's are available and have them in stock now. We build our Scout lights with these and the LT Scout mounts.

Grant,

How much for the head and a LaRue mount? Does the mount come with the torx allen key?
