Damned white dot fell out of my front sight tonight. I'm thinking about replacing it with some sort of high visibility tritium number. I would like something that would stick out like a sore thumb and still work with the existing rear sight.

Assuming this is not a bad idea, what would you suggest?

For a tritium sight you could go with a warren, heinie or trijicon...all of them are pretty much the same save for height of the sight.

I have been using the 10-8 performance brass bead front and it works pretty well.

All 4 brands that were mentioned by Willow above are solid choices. I prefer to have no white ring around my tritium. In the past I used Heines on my Glocks and currently use 10-8's tritium sets on my M&Ps (but I may go back to Heine straight 8 ledge). The 10-8s are the same height as the factory so if you only bought their front it will work with the rear. Grant at G&R also has some Ameriglo's at a kickass price...

Shouldn't have an issue finding that orange dot

I really want to try one of the Ameriglo units... and the price at G&R is making it hard to drag my feet.

I just ordered a set of those Ameriglos. Can't wait to try them!

I had warren's on my m&p and have the ameriglo's on my glock. I find the ameriglo's much easier to pick up.

I just installed the Ameriglo from G&R with a heinie ledge rear the other day. It tracks great. It's a mite shorter than the heinie front. Will shoot it this weekend to dial it in.http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/8379/gatos011.jpg (http://img291.imageshack.us/i/gatos011.jpg/) Uploaded with ImageShack.us (http://imageshack.us)
