View Full Version : Laserlyte rear sight laser.
I was thinking about getting one for my Springfield Mil-Spec. Does anyone have this on their 1911? Thoughts?
Laserlyte is not known for quality products. I would not put one on my self defense sidearm.
a laser may have useful applications but i do not think this is the best implementation. looks like you will have to make an awkward move to activate it when you draw the weapon, an extra step that will add time and, under stress, may not be easy to accomplish. murphy's law being what it is when you need it you will go to turn it on and the batteries are dead. it will not fit on your mil-spec anyhow, they are made for the novak sight cut.
If you are set on a laser I would strongly recommend going with Crimson Trace. Great product as well as top notch customer service.
