I would like to have the factory grips on my P228 stippled.

Can anyone recommend a gunsmith for this?

Thank you

Why don't you just do it yourself? It is only $16 to replace even if you f-it up.

Another option would be to put some skateboard tape on your gun. I routinely do this with my more slippery guns, and it works very well.

Do it.

This was my first-ever stippling project and it turned out great. I used a $10 Harbor Freight soldering iron and it took about an hour. The nice thing about working on the P228 is that the grips are removable (as opposed to stippling your Glock, for example) and factory replacements are readily available.

Worst case scenario, you screw up or you hate it and you're out $20.

I sent my P220R Combat factory grips to Hogue and had them recheckered. I think it was around $35 and like a 9 day turnaround. I love them! BTW, check out hogueaction.com or something like that because they may already have a pair that is recheckered for sale.
