Hi,
I am signed up for a 2-day AK course in March and want to follow up with the Vickers AK course in the summer.
I have a Vector AK with a LaRue Iron Dot that I had purchased when they first came out. It's been fine for range use.
I also just bought a Aimpoint "silver" micro. My dilemma is should I just bite the bullet, so to speak, and get the ultimak rail with the aimpoint or give the optic a try.
I even thought of removing the fastfire and hood, mounting a piece of rail, and installing the Aimpoint micro on the LaRue. Thus my question.
I would transition the fastfire to a range pistol I have.

Thanks for your input.
