View Full Version : bodyguard 380 MSRP
I think I recently saw someone here at M4C report that the retail price was dropping to around $300. Can anyone here confirm this? I passed up a chance to buy one today for $365 and I'm wondering if I missed out on a good deal.
Adamson Police Products is advertising 266 for the 380, 350 for the 38spl. They don't have any in stock, but Smith & Wesson is getting aggressive with pricing their products.

S&W has lowered the price on them.

How low was it dropped? Are we talking in the neighborhood of $300 or $400?
Not Grant buy S&W has dropped prices on all of their polymer pistols I think $50.00.
Bodyguard 380s are $350.00 and M&Ps are $475 at my shop. We compete with Cabela's because they are 15 minutes away. Their prices were 60 to 100 dollars more than us about 3 weeks ago.
A lot of guys that I know are getting the .380's for $269.

At that price, someone is basically giving them away.
Must be inventory heavy.

Grant, if you have these in stock, will you PM me a price?

Yeah, that's what I thought. It's a LE Distributor (forgot the name) that is having the sale. My bud told me that he was around #50 on the wait list.

That is throwdown level pricing which makes me wonder...

Got a link? Couldn't find it on their site.
I don't have a link, it's on the wall in our range at work. You can call them and confirm over the phone. I didn't believe it and I called them.
OMB Express has them listed pre-order for 289ish:

They have very good prices. I wish I got some LEO discounts. Being a therapist who treats LEOs doesn't give you discounts anywhere. :(
At that price, they're more competitive with the LCP.
It's been quite awhile, but I think my SW380 was about ~$250.00. I hope that's where the similarities end. :D
I wonder if the vendor(s) and/or S&W are inventory long and cash short.

I'm just a dense jarhead so pardon the next question:
We are talking about the Bodyguard .380 with integrated laser, right?

Yep. I was shocked when I saw the price. Especially when MSRP was over $500.

Goddamn. May have to jump on this. Does anyone make a metal clip for attaching to clothing while out PTing?

You'd be less confused if you clicked on "criteria" on the gun's page on their site.
