Called S&W to order steel recoil spring guide rod for 4506 to replace the aluminum version with the pinned head that can come loose. No longer in production. Guy said same as 1006 version. Haven't been able to locate at Brownell's or Midways. Anyone got a lead on one of these or quality aftermarket substitute?
