So I recently aquired a new rifle. Its a Rem. 700 30-06. Its a beast. Ive shot plenty of .308's, 30-30's, 06's but this is mine. The pics are before and after (small ones taken on my phone sorry for the size).
I put a new remington stock, glass bedding. Ive been noticing alot of aliminum pillar bedding...is that something you NEED to shoot for long range? I have a lighter contour barrel anyway. The scope is an old bushnell sportview with the old style rangefinder. Im sure some of you are familiar with it. Its a 4-12x50, Ilike it, i cant find it ANYWHERE online. Should i stick with it? Anyways any tips are appreciated!
