Rebar cutter

Has anyone here ever used one of LMT's rebar cutters? I saw it on their website and wondered how they worked.

Given the exterme specialized nature of this device, I doubt you're going to find too many people cutting rebar with guns around here.

I could think of a number of better things to cut re bar with other than a 5.56 round. As for how it works it probably similar to a breaching barrel on a shotgun hold it up to the bar and shoot

First you will need to expose the rebar.....I got that covered?????

The rebar cutters work very good. But after extended use the crown of the barrel is damaged because of the splash back from shooting into the rebar.

Pretty much you just put the rebar into the slots and fire.

I'll stick with bolt cutters. I think homeowners and the local LE might get mad if I start using a gun to cut the rebar for the pools we dig. :eek:
