The West Virginia Citizens Defense League has drafted proposed legislation that would make some major changes to WV's firearms laws, including concealed carry without a license. It should be introduced in the next two weeks. There are too many proposed changes to list here, so here's the link.

The WVCDL has also filed a lawsuit against Charleston, South Charleston, Dunbar, and Martinsburg concerning their gun control ordinances.

For anyone who lives in WV or travels through it regularly I recommend singing up for the WVCDL's email list. It's the easiest way I know of to keep up with legal changes in the state.
