Anyone have experience with the pws fsc47? I just bought an arsenal slr107fr with the 74 brake on it but the brake feels HEAVY. I am going to mount an ap micro and g2 on an ultimak mount and would like to save weight out front by using the fsc. My question is how bad is the concussion out the sides? And how well does it work at controlling muzzle climb?

Won't fit on the 24mm threaded FSB.

The lightest device you could put on there by manticore arms isn't even an ounce lighter.

If it's too heavy, just use this thread protector.

I put the FSC on my 16" FAL, no noticeable increase in concussion to the shooter... bystanders may not like it though.

I'm very happy with it, takes the 308 recoil down to about that of my un-comp'd AR.

I ran a FSC47 on my Draco with no issues. Great recoil control and shot to shot recovery. Blast wasn't bad as the shooter or bystander.

You you have a muzzle thread compatibility issue though. The PWS CQB Comp would work but looks heavy. There is also the traditional Bulgy bird cage and a funky brake made by Manticore Arms http://www.manticorearms.com/NightShroud-Flash-Hider-for-AK-74-24mm-thread-MA-600.htm
