Real or Fake

Just got my aimpoint Compm4:D I am 99.99 percent sure that this unit its real but I just wanted another opinion. Here are some pics of the unit. I only took a few because it is my phone camera, but If you need specific pics of the unit for determination, please let me know. Here they are:

Why not just contact aimpoint and have them check the serial number?

I tried this already. No answer, no reply nothing. I left two messages and sent an email. This is why I am here asking you guys.... I thought they would have better CS, but cant really speak for it because I never even talked to anyone. So any opinion is well appreciated. Heck they might even have someone from aimpoint on this forum.

It looks pretty good. Pics of the the inside of the windage/elevation screws may help. What kind of package did it come in? What's the finish like between the optic and mount? Where did you order it from? Try aimpoint again. I've called them in the past and haven't had any trouble. About 4 years ago I got taken for a fake M3 and man I was furious. Never saw the dealer again at that particular show.
Also, leave the sight constantly on. That's another way of telling. Within a few days the cheap knock offs will die. Obviously if its the real deal that's not a concern.

So far I have had it for three days. My personal tests were: throwing it at the bottom of the pool for 25 minutes with the sight on( worked well, nothing happened), and keeping it on since I got it. Here are more pics

That thing does look like the real deal. I haven't had my M4S for about a year so I can't just look at mine and compare. Do the adjustment knobs spin all the way around or stop at the last setting? If you bought it new it should come in a white box with a bikini cover and one Duracell battery IIRC. Honestly try Aimpoint again. That's your best bet.
