If I run a 12.5 inch barrel, and a low profile gas block, can I run the Omega 9 inch rail opposed to the 7 inch rail. Any issue there?

What rail would you run?
What gas block for that matter?

Would the Omega 9 inch leave room for my M4-2000 can to attach?

Yes you can. I am a big fan of covering as much of the barrel as I can to create as many different gripping surfaces as possible. I just did a carbine build for my wife that used an 11" TRX Standard Battle Rail over a shaved FSB on carbine gassed barrel.

I am running a Daniel Defense 10.0 Lite Rail on my 11.5" SBR. The FSB was chopped and I shaved. The rail fits perfectly. Have you seen pics of mine? I am also running the AAC M4-2000.

I put a DD Lite 9.0 on this SBR with an 11.5 BCM barrel, using a VLTOR low profile gas block.
