I started looking for a .22 pistol just for plinking at the range. I was looking for something with an alloy frame when I came across this.

this should probably go in the 1911 forum.

I saw a pic from shot show on these and it looks kinda neat. a exact replica of a 1911a1 but scaled down maybe ~ 20% and chambered in .22lr looks like it might be fun.

Is Browning actually producing these?

ETA: I hate when I do this. Answered my own question. They are produced at the same factory as the Buck Mark. Kudos to Browning.
