LMS Defense - Intermediate Carbine Clinic

Course Length: 1 Day

Date: 24 September 2011

Host: Okanogan Co Sheriff’s Department

Location: OCSO department range – 200 B&O Okanogan WA 98840 – You will receive specific directions upon registration

Tuition: $175 ($50 off total cost if Pistol, Carbine and Medical are taken together)

Course Description:
This class will focus on longer range engagements (50-150 yards), unconventional shooting positions, shooting on the move, rifle to handgun transitions, combat stress management, and multiple target engagement. Be prepared to conduct low/no light live fire training. You may use whatever carbine you will use in the fight, this means AR-15 platforms, AK/ WASR, M1A etc.


Student Prerequisites:
This is not an introductory course. You will need to show up with known good equipment and a zeroed rifle. You will need to be able to handle, shoot and move with your weapon safely as well as have a good understanding of the manual of arms for your chosen weapon.


Equipment required:
-Positive, winning attitude
-Carbine, 4 magazines minimum, and sling
-Weapon mounted light (preferable) and/or handheld light
-Handgun, 3 magazines
-Ammo: 600 rifle/100 pistol minimum
-Holster and magazine pouches
-Pen and notebook
-Gloves, hat or other head covering
-Knee and elbow pads
-Eye and ear protection (electronic ear pro is preferred)
-Sunscreen or rain gear (as applicable)
-Adequate personal water supply
-Sack lunch and snack food (We do not leave the range for lunch)
-Knee and elbow pads
-Please bring the gear you will use in a fight. Ie: tactical vest, duty belt, bugout rig, patrol rifle bag, etc.
