WTK: Release of Colt and Browning 1911 in 22lr ?

Has anyone heard when we might see the Colt and Browning 1911 .22lr pistols for sale ? ....for those of us who cannot afford Colt Ace's! :)

Browning is releasing a 1911-22 in the next few months, if it isn't already out there.

It's 80-85% of the size of a 1911, so it isn't full sized.

I have no idea about colt.

If you already have a 1911 you may be better off with a 22 conversion.
