M&P9 Sear Housing block question

I have a M&P9 with the frame that fits a safety, though mine does not have a safety it is blocked off with a tiny polymer piece. I was wondering if anybody knows if i could swap in this sear housing so i could utilize the Apex Tactical R.A.M.

You don't need a new block, the RAM will install on a pistol that didn't come with a safety.

Can I add the manual safety to my m&p that didn't come with one?

My sear block doesn't have a spot for the RAM, it looks just like the sear block on the left minus the part that activates the safety. I have one of the newest models, its the Carry/Range kit 9mm in FDE

Interesting- a thread I saw yesterday said they all used same sear block.
