Got one of the new Rugers in. I want to mount a Accupoint on the forward rail so the rear sight can stay mounted. Something like this:

Just a Larue M4 mount I already had. Obviously too high and it doesn't bring it back quite far enough. The extended version might bring it back enough. If I can't get the TR24 to work, I'll use a TR21 for the longer eye relief, but the height is still the problem.

Anyone got any ideas?

I haven't tried this one before & it probably doesn't help on height.

Their specs list hgt. as:
Height w/ 1″ rings: 1.403 inches
Height w/ 30mm rings: 1.471 inches

I believe LaRue is 1.5"

Yeah, the ADM is on my list for possibles. It would definitely solve the eye relief problem with the TR24. But it would be nice to find something lower, not sure if it's made though. If I could find something lower, I'd be happy even if I had to use a TR21 for longer eye relief.

Thanks!
