Hello

So this will be my first build! I am buying most the gun from the good people at Southern Michigan Arms.

What are ppl using for dust cover and fwd assist on th mega billet upper. I have to order and want the finish similar

Thats th entire upper with rail. I just got th billet upper and lower. I just need dust cover and fwd assist. It came with neither

Spikes T2 buffer + Tubbs CS Flat Spring + G&R LPK (no trigger or grip)
Trijicon TR24G + Am Def Recon mount

I have a Mega lower and love it. My only suggestion would be to get a LPK from Daniel Defense or G&R. Also if you're going for a comp get a Battlecomp.

I just recently built a Mega rifle. I would suggest looking into DD LPK.... I really like mine.

Yeah you're right I am going to have to buy the normal folding sights.

Is there a difference in quality for lpks?

In my experience yes. My DD is very smooth and crisp whereas my friends DPMS doesn't break as consistently and seems to have a very long pull. For the money you are paying I feel like there is better stuff out there. Plus if you buy from G&R, Grant is a member on the boards and has good stuff from what I have read.

What weight is your set up? I don't have a good scale to use and was wondering were these come in? Im guessing in the 7.5# range.
