I took my new Lancaster AKM to the range today to sight her in. She shot very nicely! I love it.
However, I did manage to break my sight adjustment tool. That being the case, I have two questions:
1) Is the front sight post usually really tight? So tight that it might break the sight adjustment tool? I screwed the sight down a bit but it didn't seem like it should be out of adjustment depth. It was VERY tight and eventually broke a tab off the tool after about two turns. Is that normal?

2) The sight adjustment tool I had seemed to have a smaller hole than the diameter of the left-to-right sight adjustment tube. That is, when I placed the tool over the circle in an atempt to adjust the sight, screwing down the right side of the adjustment tool put pressure on the sight tube in a leftward direction. However, the tool itself would block any progress that would be made by the sight adjustment tube because the hole on the left side of the sight adjustment tool was not large enough to allow movement by the sight adjustment tube. Make sense? ARe there varying sizes of sight adjustment tools? Or, sights?

As always, thanks in advance.
