Maybe a Benchmade expert can fill me in....was issued to me in the Air Force, looks exactly like the 100SH20, but has the black blade of the Nimravus. Any ideas?

Looks like a militarized version of the 100SH20, as you said. They most likely just toned town the logos and coated the blade. Here's a link in case you didn't have it: http://www.benchmade.com/products/100SH2O

Honestly, I would contact them. Benchmade has fantastic customer service, and they'd be more than happy to help you identify it.
