I'm thinking about getting a G26 in a few months and I'm curious if a smooth G17 trigger can be installed in a G26. I've put smooth triggers in both of my G19s and would want to do the same in the G26 if I go that route. Is this possible? Also, I assume the size of the connector is the same as well; I'd want to install a Glock - connector too. Thanks!

Yes the trigger and connector will both work.

Need an education: I have:

Gen 4 G17, Gen 3 19OD & 26OD with original trigger. After 4K or so down range from each weapon, the trigger is great.

What am I missing or what would I be gaining?

From which part?

You already have the smooth trigger in your G17 (compared to the serrated trigger on the 19 and 26). With 4k through them all, if it hasn't bothered you yet you probably aren't missing much.

The - connector will reduce your trigger pull weight.

Dang I never noticed the serrated trigger until you just pointed it out. :-) LOL, for sure I am getting old. And as you stated with over 4K downrange the G19 & 26 never was an issue. As for reducing the trigger pull weight, I will leave it be. Know each weapon trigger pull, therefore I won't screw with it.

Thank you for the education.

The smooth trigger is one of the few modifications I like to have on my Glock 26 and 19 (along with the Vickers mag release and Warren or Heinie Sights). That serrated trigger irritates my finger after a long range session.

The gun needs those things, or the shooter? :D

Big difference, but one that the industry and marketers would prefer you didn't discern.

I have the smooth trigger in all 3 of my current Glocks (a 19, and two 26s). The serrated "target" trigger is really uncomfortable for me after extended shooting sessions, and has given me a blister after a few hundred rounds.
