Which do you prefer and why,Ghost Ring,Bead,Rifle,Red Dot or other?

Depends on your application. I assume this will be a self defense shotgun.

1. Ghost rings help in precision compared to beads but you give up some acquisition speed. My choice of sights b/t ghost rings and beads for SD.

2. Beads are just the opposite. Faster acquisition but a little less precision. For an indoor/short range SD shotgun a TruGlo front bead is hard to beat in my opinion though. Plus way cheaper than the other choices.

3. Red dots are the best of both worlds. I placed an Aimpoint on my ghost ringed Mossberg last month and noticed an increase in target and sight pick up Plus because of the smaller dot (T1-4 MOA dot) compared to my fiber optic front sight I could shoot slugs slightly better at the 50 yard mark.
