My search-fu is weak.
I'm sure this has been covered.

I'm looking for info on reduced wounding capacity with various ammo at various ranges.

Thanks in advance!

You just start with less velocity, so distance before the bullet stops reliably performing will drop accordingly: but which powder/bullet weight combinations are most/least affected by shortening barrels is the only thing outside a velocity chart that would need to be taken into consideration.
For apples to apples (like projectiles, like targets), velocity is the only relevant input.
At a given velocity (and corresponding energy), the wounding should be identical - that velocity will be that much closer from an SBR than a 24" rifle. You just start farther along the velocity chart if you don't care to muck about with BC's, and relate those corresponding speeds to the terminal ballistics information.
