I'm not sure if this is a legit buffer tube...?
The only markings that stand out to me, are the ones in the picture.

I have a Legit milspec Emod stock installed on the buffertube.

What say you?

Who did you buy it from? That should answer your question super quick.

Exactly. Is there any reason why you can't take the stock off? It doesn't require tools.

I bought it off a guy that I'm no longer in touch with.

I've been searching for a VLTOR buffer tube with those pictured markings, but havn't found any.

I did take the stock off, so I'll snap a few more pictures.

Correction, I didn't mean stock... I was thinking about the castle nut, and how I need to buy a wrench for that. Sorry for the confusion.

I have an older Vltor tube and a new A5. The markings on your tube doesn't look like any of mine.

I did a google search using the images and the rear of the tube is like the AK adaptor ones. I remember seeing one in Baghdad but wasn't sure.

I came across that image as well, before I posted this thread. I also searched for knockoffs, and still couldn't find those markings. Of course, there's only so many pictures that show rear end of the buffer tube, which makes it harder to search for those markings.

Thanks for confirming that.
Mil-spec, correct? I believe my Emod is milspec, and was told it was if it has a letter (m) inside the storage compartment.

Yep, I have the same markings on mine. In fact, I picked mine up at VA Arms :)

IIRC they only make mil-spec receiver extensions and no commercial ones.
