Hey guys me again..I'm looking at buying my first aftermarket trigger. I only have experience with G.I. style triggers, although I haven't used a Colt factory trigger yet. I shoot about 10,000 rnds a year give or take & my DPMS, Oly, & RRA triggers start out gritty and end up worse. Bare in mind I generally shoot 100 yds and in. I'm looking for a reliable, single stage, that's has a positive & quick reset this will be on my h.d. carbine. Would like to keep the trigger pull close to 4lbs or higher..does this trigger exist?? Thanks for all of your help you guys "built" my rifle! Will post pics when I get the lower built.

With some google'ing I found a couple:

POF Tactical Trigger (http://www.tacticalsubmission.com/POF_USA_Tactical_Integrated_Trigger_System_4_5_lb_p/poflrt.htm)

Jard Custom 4.5lb Trigger (http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/sid=44416/pid=1466/Product/_154___4_5_lb__Trigger_Kit?utm_medium=shoppingengine&utm_source=googlebase&mc_id=10000&gdftrk=gdfV21820_a_7c187_a_7c745_a_7c100001696_d_100000208_d_10914)

Timney Trigger (http://www.primaryarms.com/product.sc;jsessionid=9FA923023E5716AC5E7AB11F6FAF8EA6.qscstrfrnt05?productId=1207)

Now it's your turn to research their reliability lol

Thanks for the reply, I didn't know POF made a trigger. I'll do some reading!

If I were to get a double I would probably go with that one

Another vote for the geissele, I know they are expensive but they are amazing. That's what I would go with if I were you

Don't forget he said he preferred single

Initially I was leaning towards Geissele, but all of the ones I have been able to find thus far have been two stage, but I truly appreciate the responses! There are just so many options that it's hard to wrap my head around!

Wilson makes a single

The Wilson TTU is a definite contender at this point, it seems to hit upon most of my wants..just haven't heard of any being put through high round counts yet.

The Geissele S3G is not exactly single stage but it's not a 2-stage either. IMO it beats single stages at what they do best and is the fastest trigger that you can also stay accurate with.

I haven't tested this myself but Andrew at vuurwapenblog.com liked the Spike's Tactical trigger.
