I finally worked my TD shorty on my rail and it was a pain in the @$$.

Anybody know of an aftermarket QR way to get it done?

Pics appreciated...

Thanks,

Mike

Yep. Mount your TD VFG to an ARMS #17DR.

I really like that setup, and I need to get around to ordering one of those ARMS mounts.

If only Mr. Larue would make a QD mount for the TD grips!!!

IMHO ARMS is a last resort manufacturer, having had broken a few under normal use, poor choice.

Looked at YHM, MI, Tango themselves and there seems to be no others. I just bought the SureFire 500 QR from LaRue and love it. I have yet to be dissatisfied with a LaRue product.

While the are at it I could also use 1913 (low profile) pic rail mount for on top of a 30mm scope, like the integrated ring Badger Ordinance one.

I think plenty of people on TOS are doing that. I believe it is on the list of things to do but it might be a while.

You can replace the ARMS lever with the LT-170 - if you don't mind spending $79 for the ARMS #17DR and $79 for the LT-170. That is one expensive QD VFG...;)

I may do this anyway if and when the ARMS lever works loose or breaks off.
