Africa Addio is a long forgotten 1966 Italian documentary about the disastrous communist sponsored decolonization of the continent. You basically get to see the sort of stuff that never got to be filmed in color when the Bolsheviks terrorized Russia, or when the Nazi's massacred Jews in the Ukraine. The communists tried to have this banned in multiple European countries under the auspices of "racism" with marginal success. It shows the "redistribution" of wealth and the violence after the British leave Kenya, the massacre of thousands of Arabs in Zanzibar, and the aftermath of the 1964 simba revolt in the Congo.
If this footage doesn't make you believe in badguys, nothing will.
Sort of amazing that Africa got even worse AFTER they filmed all this.
