A1 Upper?

Was picking up a new lower at my dealer the other day, and he has a number of old, used A1 stripped uppers. I believe that they are Colt, but not certain.

I haven't looked at these before, but I'm contemplating a retro build, and would like to know if there is anything that I should look out for. Also, if it's permitted to ask, is $160 a decent price for one of these?

It depends on the condition and if it is refinished.

It is impossbile to answer your question without pictures or detail description of the markings.

I can say for certain that they are not refinished. I didn't get to really take note of the markings.
