Legit Barrel Question

I currently have a left handed upper receiver and want to throw an aac 300 blackout barrel on this. Was told I need an ambi barrel extension. Completely new to this section of the world so-to-speak. WTF is this and where do I get one?:confused:

It is attached to the barrel when the barrel is made. The Stag LH bolt locks in the opposite direction of a standard AR so the barrel extension (it's what the bolt locks into on the barrel) needs relief cuts on the opposite side of the lugs, or with the ambi it's on both sides.
