Captain Crunch illegal. WTF is left; next is the war on Twinkies. Go to hell I will make my own choices!

"Cap'n Crunch was once the No. 1 breakfast cereal, but pressure from the White House and health activists is having an effect on how PepsiCo and other food companies peddle their products to kids. Sales of the cereal were down 6.8 percent in 2010."

Oh man that sucks, I’ve been heading Capt Crunch since he was an ensign. I’m sure some here knew him when he was a midshipman.

How the hell do you watch Jonny Quest without a bowl of Captain Crunch?

I see nothing wrong with kids eating healthier. But what really sucks, is that the reason we could down two bowls of Captain Crunch as a kid was because we used up the calories through physical activity.

at work, I see more adults buy Cap'n than kids. Hell, I have boxes with the old skule logo.

I think part of the decline in big name cereal sales is the price. I sell Cap'n for 4.59 a box, while private label stuff like generic cheerios and bran flakes are a few ticks over $2.

Isn't that the truth My local store has off brand bags of Cereal for $1 per bag. They probably even make it in the same place.

Captain Crunch is one of my all time favorite snack cereals! I eat more cereal for desert than deserts. I thinkn we need to incite the Cereal Unions into rioting and march on the White House.

While I think Cap'n Crunch is evil incarnate when it comes to health and your budget, government has no business pressuring anyone.

After one bowl of Cap'n Crunch my mouth is in agony. So much sugar it rots cankers into your mouth in one bowl.

I remember when I was in my mid-20s and had gone back to school for a year. A local store had the Holiday/ Christmas special edition of Cap'n Crunch on sale for $1 a box after the holiday season. You know what we ate for the next month...

But Mac is right. We used to burn off the calories running around outside playing. Cops/Robbers, Army, Nerf Football...

They actually still show them. I think the channel is BOOM. But they are late at night. I watched them all about a year ago. One of the few things that entertained me as a kid that didn't strike me as incredibly stupid today.

The old Jonny Quest was the heat man. I loved that cartoon as a kid.

The later Jonny Quest stuff (Real Adventures etc) were dumb.

They have the original series season one on DVD. Have to see if Santa can bring that. My kids like old cartoons from the 30s-70s (we have a bunch of multi DVD stuff that has cartoons from the 30s up to the stuff I remember in the early 70s).

I was 4'11 and about 80lbs in the 5th grade, and lived on a diet of candy. :D

Ah, the days of Fruity Pebbles, Cap'n Crunch, Sugar Smacks, and Count Chocula. I have matured to Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

PB Cap'n is the only one I ever liked. Tried the others and just couldn't enjoy it. 1 or 2 times a year I will buy a box. But usually for me it is Irish steel cut oats or Cheerios if I need breakfast in a bowl.

 Uh uh hell no!

All you see on the fridge here at home are at least 2-3 boxes of crunch berries.

It just as bad at work with one in the break room and another stashed.

Im ticked leave the capn alone!

Better go have a bowl and cool down my nerve's
