Hmmm.... Changeable mag wells? That looks interesting! If you like the ergo's and trigger on your lower and find them suitable for all your required task, you could use one upper to run both a competition upper and a more "standard" upper and save a good chunk of money. I'll be watching this develop with interest.

That's interesting. But I don't know if it's $300 interesting.

sort of like the quick change barrel fad we saw with the ACR and SCAR, I'm of the opinion that I just pick a barrel and go with it. Same with a magwell - I'm probably just going to pick one and have it be permanent.

About the price, something you need to remember is that a Geissele can run up to the 300ish dollar range, and if you find the trigger good for two roles, most likely hunting and competition, then you can still save money. A UBR isn't cheap either, as well as the many other things added to lowers. It can easily add up to be a lot.

I will admit, if I had the money, then I would just buy two lowers, as it simplifies things, and I don't see my self swapping out magwells often. Still, some people may find this lower to be great. They could easily turn their competition gun into a varmit gun, and save a few hundred bucks.

Just some thoughts. 300 dollars will get you a complete BCM lower from Grant, so depending on use, this may not actually save you any money. Or, you could just use something along the lines of the Noveske flared lower, and that will most likely do the job just as well. Still, this is concept is very unique as well as interesting.

We had these in stock for a few weeks now. We ordered them with the medium magwells. Great billet lowers the Va Arms Shooting Team won three of them in Pa last year. Its what my main 3gun rifle has for a lower.

I thought it looked to be good with the 3 magwells. However I notice a separate listing for the tactical and competition magwells at $52 and $57. So the lower must just come with the standard magwell. And I wish they didn't have such bold markings. I do give them credit for the concept. Pretty cool.

Here's what the ones we have look like. The ones we each won and use had the HUGE 3gun competition magwells which I found to be too damn big for me. So I bought the middle one and that's what these are.
