First, tried to search, but every time I did, the search didn't work.

I'm pretty well set on the Samson Evolution series, but I thought I'd ask about other designs out there; I have no doubt many of you are more familiar than I am with the latest gear.

I was looking at the TRX Extreme till I saw the Samson. I think that the Samson has just about everything that I'm wanting. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

There is also the JP/Vtac freefloat tube. Similar in concept to the Troy/Vtac tube but uses a much more solid mounting to the reciever. It is also more involved to mount it to the weapon.

Well, just solved my own issue. I saw that Rainier has their own Evolution series from Samson, with a pre-order savings of $25! Guess I made up my own mind.:)

you get what you pay for... and if a thing is 1/3rd the price of all the rest, you can expect 1/3rd the quality.
