I was playing around with the Magpul XTM panels and decided to try mix matching the all the Furniture in the rifle. I think it looks good so far. Maybe we can start selling them like this?

I've been doing this sort of thing too. Besides the XTM panels I have a MIAD in DE/FG and a UBR in DE/FG (actually 2 UBRs mirror image of each other :-) )

Helps break up the outline a bit more. I also use (solid color) parts of both colors on guns. Say a green grip, DE AFG, etc.

I also have different RANGER plates on all my PMAGs than the normal color. So FE PMAG, FG Ranger Plate, etc.

Just in time for St. Patrick's Day!

I tried the same thing with two UBR stocks, one foliage and one OD. It actually didn't work too well - each stock operated smoothly as it came from the factory, but there must have been a slight difference in dimensions as there was binding with my OD/foliage frankenUBR.

I do it with XTMs and MIADs too. I like it.

I am not sure how this is really possible to have problems. Don't take the adjustable part of one and stick it on the other. Take the top plastic piece off one and move just that to the other. Ditto the doors/panels.

Good idea. It's funny how people have been mixing XTM panels for ages, yet this is the first time I've seen anyone mix'n'match anything else.

I have done that with XTM pannels but I would have to buy 2 of everything to do what you did I like it though. I just got to handle a set of thouse sights the other day. I have to say I was impressed I kind of thought they were plastic junk having never seen them before.

I'd say you can have an AR in any color you want as long as it is black! :p
