Stone Cobra Tactical Presents
Carbine Course I
Date - Apr. 16th 2011
Instructor - Gordon Gray
Location - Sacramento Valley Shooting Center (California)
This is a basic class that will cover zeroing your rifle, mechanical offset, sight alignment, trigger and breathing control, Loading /unloading, type I and type III malfunctions, shooting positions (standing, kneeling, prone), and care/maintenance
Needed:
Positive Approach
Modern Working Carbine Style Rifle (To be inspected by Instructor)
Tactical Style Sling (capable of carrying rifle with muzzle down)
300 rounds
Eye/Ear protection
Minimum 3 magazines (4 -6 is ideal)
Pants with Belt (cargo pockets optional)
Knee/elbow pads (Optional)
Hat
Weather appropriate gear (rain gear, sunscreen, etc)
Water / Hydrate! Hydrate!
Bring your lunch; we will be eating on the range!

Carbine Course II
Date - Apr. 17th 2011
Instructor - Gordon Gray
Location - Sacramento Valley Shooting Center
This class will be more challenging and involve different shooting positions, tactical movements while shooting, multiple target engagement, close quarters mechanical offset, tactical reloads, type I and type III malfunctions, transition drills. Intermediate class also consists of student competitions and may require running, jumping and other possible physical activity.
Needed:
Optimistic Outlook
Modern Working Carbine Style Rifle (To be inspected by Instructor)
Tactical Style Sling (capable of carrying rifle with muzzle down)
Eye/Ear protection
300 rounds rifle
Handgun (9mm or larger)
Holster & Magazine Carrier (Open, Concealed, Duty or Tactical)
150 rounds handgun
Minimum 3 magazines each Rifle & Handgun (4 -6 is ideal)
Magazine carrier, chest rig, belt pouches (choose gear realistic to your objective)
Pants with cargo pockets (Recommended)
Knee/Elbow pads (Highly Recommended)
Tactical Gloves
Hat
Weather appropriate gear (rain gear, sunscreen, etc)
