Technology is a great threat to liberty if abused, and the left has been pushing for schools to take over parenting for a long time now. So if a kid says something thats not PC they can get in trouble at school even if what was said did not happen at school. They also need to get training as well as their family.
“The school may need to provide training or other interventions not only for the perpetrators, but also for the larger school community, to ensure that all students, their families, and school staff can recognize harassment if it recurs and know how to respond… [and] provide additional services to the student who was harassed in order to address the effects of the harassment,” said the letter.

I think the left identified education as the best way to change the US from within a long time ago. Many colleges report the majority of their professors self identify as liberal. Why try to fight it out on the streets when you can just create little socialists used to government control by the droves through the education system?
Just wait til little Johny's school demands you and your son go through reeducation because he posted on Facebook he went shooting with his dad last weekend....don't think its not going to happen. Or if he expresses an opinion that gay marriage is wrong, and the school says you are cultivating a homophobic living environment at home.
