Quick question about the power knob.

My M4's power knob has some play in it before clicking up or down to the next power level....is this normal....or did I just lose a bunch of $$$ to a fake?

Mine does as well - question asked before and it is supposed to have play to allow some 'cushion' if impacted - normal

I wondered about this as well when I forst got mine. Perfectly normal though.

It is safety measure in event when sight/weapon is dropped or hit against hard objects at knob. Due to this play knob does not transfer force directly into switching element, preventing damage.
