Doesn't look any bigger to me than normal. Its pretty full but I can't tell a size difference at all. For all the hype I thought Id see something noticeably different.

IDK it looks a little bigger, maybe. It sure looks cool tonight. Not as cool as a lunar eclipses.

I agree. I caught the what must have been the last full moon before this one and it was amazing! Super large and super bright.

I went moon chasing with my wife and kids tonight and was quite unimpressed. :(

I wasn't too impressed either. It seemed brighter, but not bigger... I was pretty bummed.

I've actually seen the moon bigger in the sky when it wasn't a super moon.

...was up to about 3-4am chasing pigs & normally cloud cover ruins the hunt as you simply cannot see as far. We were still able to keep hunting when they rolled in, so it was certainly brighter than normal.

I've actually seen the moon bigger in the sky when it wasn't a super moon.

I wish I could remember where I saw the article. It pointed out that the "Super Moon" wouldn't appear huge to our eyes. The perceived size of the moon had something to do with the angle of the moon over the horizon, rather than it's proximately to the earth.

Cloud cover here, blocked our view.
