LOL. I think you're confusing a chrome-lined rifle barrel with a chrome-plated Harley-Davidson accessory.

Well here is the thing. I want to do a 10.5 SBR but Colt barrels from dealers are $495.00 and Colt sells a 16 in M-4 complete upper for like 689.00 on their website.

I want to do a 10.5 SBR but Colt barrels from dealers are $495.00 and Colt sells a 16 in M-4 complete upper for like 689.00 on their website.BCM, DD, Centurion Arms all make outstanding barrels. A hammer-forged barrel with double-thick chrome lining from Centurion Arms is $300 and personally I'd take that any day over a Colt barrel. I'm leery of 10.5 inch barrels in an unsuppressed rifle, prefer 11.5 for the increased dwell time and arguably less problematic cycling.

I have a Gemtech Halo so it will be suppressed. I just want to keep my Colts all Colt.
