Does anyone know where I can get some LEGITIMATE 1000D Cordura in MARPAT woodland and desert?

You may want to see if someone at DIY Tactical can help you. They do have a forum over there, and perhaps someone can hook you up.

I did find this article:

http://diytactical.com/blog/index.php/2009/08/woodland-marpat-cordura-minus-the-ega-in-the-store/

Which basically says you have to get a license from the USMC to get the legit stuff.

Based on your avatar, maybe you could find somebody that knows somebody? Every now and then, a Gunny can make a phone call to a buddy that knows a rigger.....

And thank you for your service to our country, from a former Misguided Child.

And they do have woodland MARPAT without the buzzard, ball and hook, if that works for you.

You probably won't be able to buy the real deal with the EG&A on it, but the rest of the material/ patterns will match.

I'm sure Ares Armor could hook you up. They are based next to Camp Pedelton, sell to Marines, make gear for Marines, and are run by Marines. If not, I am positive they could direct you to someone who has it.

Here is a link. http://www.aresarmor.com/

Thanks all,
I'm looking to make some custom stuff for future deployments. Nothing major, just pouches & the like. I'd like to try to get most of my stuff to match my uniform, rather than be one big coyote blob.

Also, anyone know anything about webbing printed in MARPAT?

Oh and the EGA in the pattern is'nt a huge deal. I just stress legitimate because I've seen some of the commercial Woodland and Desert Digital and as soon as you put it side by side with MARPAT you can see right away that it does'nt match.

As long as the pattern resembles MARPAT closely enough that you would'nt notice a difference, I'm good. I just don't want to be rockin' the Uber-Airsoft-BlackOps-Ninja-Operator-MirageFlauge stuff.:D

Finding and pinging the Stich Bitches at your local paraloft is a good suggestion. They'll have some idea as to sourcing cloth.

Lightfighter has a VERY active DIY section called Roll Your Own. Lots of resources there, too.

EDIT: Ahem. Refrain from calling them "Stich Bitch" when dealing with them....
