I've been provided a set of Trausch grips for my Beretta 92D for evaluation; I've recently run them in dry-fire, range and IDPA match settings, as well as for carry and nightstand use. I'm extremely impressed with them-they significantly improve the Beretta 92's handling and index, at least for me personally.

Here is my evaluation in it's entirety as posted on the www.berettaforum.net site:

nice review. Does the 'thumb shelf' next to the magazine release on the left grip interfere with your normal firing grip at all? It's hard to tell exactly how far it sticks out.

I am going to be ordering a set to try out.

The thumbshelf doesn't interfere with me at all-I've had zero problems with it in two-handed, strong-handed, and/or weak-handed shooting (I'm right-handed, by the way), or in acccessing and using the magazine release button. One shooter (I believe on the www.berettaforum.net site) using these grips sanded down the thumb shelf; personally, I haven't seen any need to do so.

I've been using the grips (and the gun) very consistantly for carry, competition, and practice since February/March of this year, and I'm extremely pleased with them. I consider them to be a game-changer for the 92 (in a good sense).

I will be using the gun (with the Trausch grips) this coming weekend in our state IDPA championship match. While I don't anticipate breaking any match land/speed records, I'm very confident that the gun will perform admirably-the shooter, well, we'll see..

Best, Jon

finally got these after 8 weeks of waiting. They work fine with the stock grip screws. Handling and comfort is dramatically improved. I've never found the stock 92FS grip to be that bad, but the Trausch grips are so much thinner and more comfortable.
