I think it turned out much nicer then my first ever stipple job;

Cool. It looks like the HK has a Costa Beard at a quick glance. And that is tactical.
The glock looks good too.

lol thanks! Costa beard....
Looks professional; good job.
I must say sir you are braver than I am. I stippled the textured areas on the front and backstrap of my 45c (kind of a sharkskin feel), but I have not been able to bring myself to do the whole grip. Yours looks very good. I think your Glock turned out well too.
As much as I like the 45c, and feel it is a significant improvement over the USPc, I wish HK had provided a more aggressive grip texture. A 45c with the USPc grip texture would be ideal to me.

One of these days I want someone to post a picture of a DIY stipple job that's been completely butchered.

How does that relate to this thread?

Ok, was out to shoot it. Overall control of the weapon is much improved...I don't have a shot timer but double taps seemed faster.

One of these days I might try to do one of mine......... then you will get your pics!
I am not good a free hand stuff.........

He's saying that people constantly post DIY jobs that look like they are done very well. In other words, it is a complement.

I see. In that case; Thanks F-Trooper05!
Doing a stipple job really isn't a big deal if you practice some and take your time. I do wonder tho how some "grip stipplers" stay in business as some do real crappy looking work imo.
The stippling job looks great! I would like to eventually get the HK45c stippled as the slick grip is my only complaint with the gun.
really nice Job ! As a noob to stipple Must ask how do you do that?tools etc.

Holy mother of god that looks good, almost factory. And I thought HK45C's were already the sexiest pistol ever... looks like you just gave it a push-up bra.
Mmm...

Only tool used was a $10 wood burning tool from hobby lobby, I used the fine tip. Just take a pmag, plug in the WBT, wait for it to heat up and get started. You can practice different patterns till you have one you like. On the HK I did short, "squigly" lines intervening each other...think zebra or tiger. Dots are more aggressive but since this is a carry gun and I wanted it to look factory I did the lines.
I have to pat my my own back :D because I left the front and rear stippled areas alone, my stipple job blends right in, looks and feels the same.
Looks nice, your first stippling job looks pretty damn good too :)

I really like the squigly line pattern and prefer the look over the dots/holes that seem to be more common.
You should post a video showing us your super stipple skills so we can learn.

Thanks. I was going to tape it but there just wasn't enough light available to turn out a quality Video. I have a lead on a M&P Pro, the deal is just too good to pass up:blink:, so maybe you will have your video after all.
