Hi all,

I'm a long time lurker from Bay Area, California, but just registered.

I'm in the process building a SPR rifle & almost got all parts, minus the rear BUIS & scope.
Does anyone know where to buy the KAC 200-600M rear flip sight? I tried everywhere & seems everyone is out?
I also read that Nightforce 2.5-10X24 is not available for civilian, just military only, is it true? What is the correct reticle that been used on MK12 Mod1 rifles adopted by military/SEALs?

Thanks in advance.

Did you try KAC? They are usually pretty helpful when you call them.

Lawmen's might be able to help as well.

I personally would try Casey @ Lawmen's first whenever I need KAC kit. PM me if you need his contact.

The NXS 2.5-10x24 is indeed only remaining in the NF inventory in order to fill existing requests from the military, however the 2.5-10x32 is currently being requested far more by the military than the x24. You can still get x24's from various sources like HighCaliberSales IIrc. Keep in mind that some end users have requested the nxs 3.5 w. F1 as well. As far as ret's go, there isn't a set one per say and as of recent the new LV has been requested quite a bit so it can vary. I would guess the vast majority are in the mil dot and NPR2 config.

You would be well served with either the x24 or x32 and both have their strengths and weaknesses when viewed against one another. I think the x24 is the perfect Recce glass, and I think the x32 is the perfect SPR/MK12 guess.

And there's my problem with KAC. I love em, but hate em equally.

The issue has been discussed before. It's their prerogative as to whether they want to ship into occupied territory. As I understand it, it has to do with the wording of the laws in regards to "assault weapons and parts".

Complain to your lawcritter.

I live in CA to, and at first I was mad, and then I looked at it from their viewpoint. CA dose not like KAC rifles, and they don't want to take any risk at all, not even with parts. I can't blame them either, the laws here make my head hurt. It's there company and there policy, and if they don't want to sell to CA, so be it. Arguing over it is silly. Contact KAC directly if you want to voice your concerns.

Got the Rear sight from King Optic USA, thanks to TRIDENT82 to point me there. It's still no go with Lawmen's since I"m a CA resident, but Casey was very helpful & I don't blame them.
