Vortex Viper PST 1-4x24 scope on AR-15?

Hi, anyone here got a Vortex Viper PST 1-4x24 scope on your AR15? What do you guys think about it? How would you compare the durability and reliability of it over EOtech sights? I currently have EOtech 517 on my AR15 with 16" barrel but i have been thinking about selling the EOtech and get the Vortex 1-4x24 tactical scope. So... should I sell it? Let me know, it might help me decide what to do.

That's kind of apples and oranges isn't it? The Vortex 1-4 being a variable powered scope and the Eotech being a battery powered 1x optic.

It is my Target / Shit hits the fan rifle... I like the Variable power of the scope but I also like the fast acquisition of EOtech... I have been thinking about this for quite a while now and I still cant finalize my decision...

There are several recent or fairly recent threads directly related to the PST 1-4. I have a review from a month or two back that also gets into some comparisons to a Micro RD (for my uses and eyesight).

The orange search button at the Top of the screen with "Vortex PST" as the search item will produce four or five results.
