I got the TA31F a couple weeks ago. I have a couple questions:

1) Does the chevron take a little getting used to? Putting it right at the exact center of the target each time I shoot is a little different to me. This common?

2) Unless I am right at the 1.5" eye relief the outer edges get a little fuzzy. Is that normal?

The first is completely dependent on the individual, but can be exacerbated if you don't tape the fiber-optic to enusre that the reticle is as crisp as it can possibly be for a given light condition.

The second is likely due to how unforgiving the eye relief of the TA31 series is, however, if you are seeingthe blur weighted more to the right side of the device, that's a result of the prism being slightly angled in the to one side. It's easier to pick out with a TA31RCO variant becuse of the presence of the horizontal Mrad markings; one can see the rightmost 1/3 as slightly out of focus compared to the left and center, but it's normal, like the slight angle one will often see on an A2 carry-handle rear sight.
