I am in the market for a SA operator. I have came across a commander size operator for 900 shipped. I am a glock guy and This will be my first 1911 pistol and will eventually be used for carry. I will be putting many many rnds downrange, as I do with every gun before I carry. My main concern with the 1911 is reliability then other factors like accuracy and such. Does anyone have any experience with the Commander size operator? I have a few good reviews, but I don't know the first thing about 1911's and would like to know the pros and cons(ex Almn frame over steel etc):confused: I really have about 1050 to spend, so should I save and get another model operator. Please don't tell me go buy a "RIA tactical or sum else and save money for upgrades" I have pretty much made up my mind on the operator models.
