Search Function use it.

Lately there has been in influx of people to this forum, I would like to welcome you to the 1911 side of the house. There is a plethora of knowledgeable people here who would be glad to help you out with your questions or concerns about the 1911 platform. There is however one caveat SEARCH FIRST. Chances are your question has been brought up and addressed before and reading that thread may solve your problem or address your concern, without cluttering up this forum and wasting bandwidth. I understand that some may feel like they’re that special little snowflake with a problem that no other creature on this planet may have encountered, and with a quick search you can confirm your suspension. In case you’re wondering the search function is absolutely in the same place as any ware else on this forum. You can even do a specific search of this forum, how neat is that? In closing Please use the search function, often.

Also here is a good starting point for you new comers and old guys (not in age but in status if you will) who are too lazy to do a search and feel the need to have nice guys like myself repost the same information. :suicide2:

I find it silly that some are looking at 1911’s and haven’t taken a look at these articles.

thank you. I was starting to turn into a 1911 snob.

Seriously guys, this pistol has been around for 100 years. Every question is an old question, it's been asked (and answered) before.
