I promised the guys in class I would get a picture up tonight, for the guys who were there and that I had a chance to hang out with, you guys were great. I would have been nice to have kicked back and drank beer or grabbed dinner with more of you.

If you secure a range, and a dozen students, I bet they would be willing to do so. Honestly, I do think that's the critical piece, finding a good range that will let them do their work.

As you can imagine, their services are in high demand. But send them an email, and take the first step. All the folks I have ever chatted with at Magpul have been very polite and helpful.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained, my friend.

And Stickman, I hope you had an opportunity to shoot a carbine, and not just a camera. That looks like some very happy folks. You all must have had a blast.

I cannot speak for them but some of us have been trying for a couple of years, and have been "assured" it will happen, but it does not (or has not yet and is not on the visible horizon). (And I am not complaining or pointing fingers). Their schedule is very busy with non published .mil/.gov training and other projects and they just have a lot more demand than they can meet.

I am not saying you cannot get one, but it will be a lot of work and waiting and time and stuff if my experience is typical.

Again, I am not complaining or blaming MD or anything. I understand they are busy. Just trying to point out it is more than getting a range and a list of prospective students.

The MD classes I have been to (both pistol) were fabulous and it looks like this bunch was a great bunch as well.
