What alternatives are there on the market now that meet or exceed the quality of the PMAG LR-20?

I know you can get Knight's Mags at $120 a pop and Larue's mags at $70 ea.

Is there anything else out there or is the PMAG LR-20 the only other game in town?

DPMS or C-Products if your gun likes them I guess.

If the PMAGS work for you, great. I would stick with Larue or KAC otherwise. It sucks to pay that much but they both work.

Are folks having problems with the .308 PMags?

I have been using the LR20s on my MWS with great success. I have done everything from bench work to rapid fire, not a single hick up. at $20 a pop its pointless to look elsewere.

Whats not to like about the Pmags?? I used them yesterday on my .308 MWS and they ran flawlessly. No need to shop anywhere else. The one KAC mag I got with the gun is nice, but at $85 off of LMTs website, I will wait....probably for them to get even more expensive:rolleyes: Larue mags look good, but they are $75 a pop. Pmags are worth stocking up on.

Larue makes 20rd mags for the OBR/Predator that will/should work with any KAC/DPMS type rifle.

Nope.

Have 10 of them for my MWS, a friend uses 20LR's in his MWS, and my brother in law uses them in his REPR. All running just fine.

P mags work great in my MWS. The only problem that I have is if I leave them loaded, even with the cover in place, the feed lips begin to open up a bit to the point where they will not drop free from the mag well.

I had around 1k through the MWS, and now a little over 3100 through the EMC using about 90% PMAG 20LR's and have not had a single issue with them.

I also have 2 KAC mags and 2 LT mags. They have run 100%, too.

I've used DPMS, Magpul Pmags and C-Products 20rd SS mags in my DPMS LR-308B. I found the Magpul and CP mags to be similar in lack of any mag problems and both better than the DPMS. I know that C-Products is total junk for .223 AR15 mags, but their .308 mag seems to be well made and dimensionally correct. CP seems to be out of business but some retailers still have their .308 mags in stock.

Of course, since I've had no problems with the Magpul Pmag, I would recommend that equally.
