Anyone that has been one the boards for a while knows who I am talking about. I have sent him a 6933 and a 6920 for work. Both came back quickly and the work was perfect. Had DD AR 15 Lite FSP rails installed. Gas blocks pinned back correctly, can barely tell anything was done. Rail alignment perfect. Barrel nut perfect. Overall excellent work. Couldn't be happier. I know there are several M4C members that have also been quite happy with Robb's work; including a certain SWAT officer that likes Shiner Bock.:p

I couldn't recommend him any more highly. If Robb so chooses, I'll be glad to say where he works.

He likes to be called "Ralph"on the phone!

That's a little GotM4 factoid for you!

I know him from another forum. I have had a couple of dealings with him, both positive.

It's done dude. I worked a little Jensen-Ready mojo on it.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. :)

Yes Mark I just answer the phone "Virginia Arms" now because most don't hear me correctly, I don't think my southern accent is that strong....but maybe it is?

Rob upgraded my 2nd gen G23 cheaper than paying for shipment back to Glock. His shop is top notch and gets crowded sometimes with all those FBI, state and local LEO's slobbering all over the display cases.

Robb has installed parts on my AR15 several times. He always does quality work and a couple of times didn't even charge me for the installation in spite of the fact that I hadn't purchased the rifle or parts from VA Arms. His work is definitely worth the 1 hour battle up I-95 for me.

sorry, i'm a little slow.. :lazy2: but what does he do exactly? Put together ar parts if we are either 1) too lazy 2) not knowledgable enough 3) don't have the tools, for a small fee?

Reading his sig line will answer what he does and is capable of. I'm sure there are plenty of three letter agency types that are using something Robb worked on.

Ehh, I dont know about that guy, last time I went in there for a LPK I ended up with a Form 1 and finger print cards for my first SBR:shout:

He does things right the first time, every time. If you have ever seen a weapon butchered by somebody who did not have the right skills and tools, then it may not be a big deal to you.

I've had Robb install a DD RIS rail on a Colt 6920 upper. At the time, neither of those were easy to obtain. He's also installed two sets of Warren tactical sights on pistols. Warrens were not easy to get then.

All the work was done exactly right. That's the big deal.

He just built me an 11.5 BCM BFH on a URX II platform... This is a work of art... Not an easy feat with the gas block I decided to use!

I have plenty of additional projects that are going his way!

I wasnt doubting his work or anything like that. Just stated I may be looking for someone to do some work on one of my future builds and I wanted to see some of his work. I dont see anything wrong with that.

That was a sarcastic response by Gunz. They are pals if I can recall.

I sense some sarcasim there as well. Robb built my first SBR upper on one of the original unmarked BCM 11.5 upper with a Larue 10.0 rail installed and shaved down FSB. Still one of my favorite uppers and it's being used by a fellow Deputy until he decides on an upper of his own. Nothing but quality work.

And Shiner Bock beats Icehouse any day. :alcoholic:

Snack, check these threads: https://www.m4carbine.net/search.php?searchid=2984185

The AR Picture thread and the BAD-A.S.S. thread alone are literally peppered with pictures of Robb's work and personal weapons. You can't swing a dead cat without hitting one.

Same with the 1911 Picture thread, the M&P Picture thread....

If you're on Facebook, check also the Jensen-Ready Tactical Group. Photos galore.

No....

Robb has a little shop -- elf size, out back -- that has little elves that do the work he taught them. Like Umpa Lumpas of the Gun World or something.

It's sweet...

That was my way of saying that Red Jacket Arms would be number 100 on my list and Robb would be numero uno.

Robb

Put the rail on my gun and pinned the flash hider on. It was returned to me quickly and the price was great. I added the longer rail myself through a trade.
